Mientras en Puerto Rico ya nos estamos recuperando de la peor crisis económica en nuestra historia causada por 8 años de desastre del PPD y estamos invirtiendo miles de millones haciendo obra en carreteras, sistemas de transportación, embalses, acueductos, energía renovable, etc., 46 estados han reducido sus servicios y paralizado obras, y el gobierno de Minnesota lleva tres semanas cerrado. Inclusive, Conniecticut cesanteó a 7,500 empleados públicos.
• Mientras en Puerto Rico en tan sólo dos años hemos reducido el déficit gubernamental de 44% a 7%, 44 estados y D.C. proyectan déficits de $140 billones para este año fiscal. En los pasados 2 años se han reducido casi 830,000 empleos a nivel de Gobiernos Estatales.
• Mientras en Puerto Rico ya nos estamos recuperando de la peor crisis económica en nuestra historia causada por la Década de Desastre del PPD, 31 estados han cortado los servicios de salud; 29 estados y D.C. han cortado los servicios a envejecientes y personas con impedimentos; 34 estados han cortado los servicios de educación de kinder a cuarto año; y 43 estados han cortado los servicios a universidades y aumentado los costos de matrícula; entre otros.
• Mientras en Puerto Rico estamos invirtiendo más de $750 millones en la creación de nuevas escuelas para el Siglo XXI, 34 estados han cortado los servicios de educación de kinder a cuarto año. California, entre otros, están despidiendo miles de maestros. Detroit cerró la mitad de sus escuelas.
• Mientras en Puerto Rico hoy gozamos de la Reforma Contributiva más justa, grande y abarcadora en nuestra historia, que nos devuelve más de $1,200 millones a nuestro bolsillo anualmente, más de 30 estados han aumentado las contribuciones a individuos, negocios, ventas y consumo, incluyendo California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Washington y Wisconsin, entre otros. Y en España, Gran Bretaña, Grecia y República Dominicana, entre muchos otros, la gente se ha tirado a las calles en protesta por aumentos en las contribuciones.
